I Was So Very Proud of my Uncle Don!

He confided one day that he'd attended Hartwick and that he graduated in the top ten of his class. While my dear Uncle didn't specifically say he'd attended Hartwick College, he was quite content to let me run with the assumption.  In fact, it was a small schoolhouse and all the attendees had to take regularly scheduled rotation of early arrival to get the wood stove fired up before the balance of students showed up. And while he didn't fabricate the notion of his high ranked status what he failed to mention was that there were only nine kids in the class. :)

and there's another story ....

Cousin Alice, in her youth across the pond, was on her mountain bike (Grandma Gras assured me that they all had mountains bikes, back in the day.  They lived on a small mountain and they had bikes - this qualified as mountains bikes).  At any rate, Alice was pedaling on her bike and a nasty goose with a terrible attitude was giving young Alice a good run for her money.  However, the aggressive beast got just desserts when it lunged at her, only to get it's neck caught in the spokes of her bike. Bikes, back in the day, were built more like Sherman tanks.  It is my hope the bird met an early roast and Alice enjoyed a good dinner.

Here's my story...

I rear ended a car this morning . I could tell that this was going to be a REALLY bad day!

The driver got out of the other car, and he was a DWARF!! He looked up at me and said "I am NOT Happy!"

So I said, "Well, which one ARE you then?"

That's how the fight started.
